Hey I am Pilar,
As a humanitarian photographer, my artistry aims to celebrate the inherent worth present in every human being. Through my lens, I document stories around the word, striving to spark positive transformation by raising awareness and generating financial assistance.
My photographs serve as a powerful medium to shed light on humanitarian issues while uplifting the resilience, bravery, and hope that individuals can exhibit even in the direst of circumstances. Each image provides a window into the lives and experiences of others, transcending linguistic and cultural boundaries to forge connections based on our shared struggles, aspirations, and humanity.
I consider world home. A palm reader in Spain once told me that I will live the life of a magical gypsy and that my work will create change. That’s exactly what I am doing. Along with my photography, I champion the causes I document and deliver keynote speeches for the NGOs and causes that my photography represents.
